This year the Pays-d’Enhaut section of the DIANA is celebrating its 100 years of existence. The team of L’Etambeau is taking this opportunity to introduce a sometimes sensitive subject and to illustrate the history of this “useful occupation”, described as such in the dictionary.
The exhibition questions the visitor on the idea of hunting. What is it? One of the last taboos of the modern world? A means of regulating the populations? The pleasure of killing? A love of nature? A sport like any other?
Hunting, an unclassifiable activity which has ceaselessly changed during the years as has the way in which it is perceived.
