madeleineberthodflyerSPECIAL EXHIBITION

from 30.6. to  28.8.2016

The Musée du Pays-d’Enhaut summer exhibition will be held at Maison de l’Etambeau and will present the story of Madeleine Berthod who this year celebrates the sixtieth anniversary of her 1956 downhill gold medal win in Cortina d’Ampezzo.

As a child she used to ski on the Monts-Chevreuils slope, which at the time was the longest slope with a ski lift, inaugurated just ten years earlier.

Newspaper articles, souvenirs, and interviews with the champion will take you through some of the greatest moments of skiing in Pays-d’Enhaut.
