URSULA ASTNER AND THE BIRDS
Exhibition-sale from 20th May to 31st October 2017
In order to mark the fortieth anniversary of Ursula Astner’s first papercut, the Museum has the pleasure of welcoming this artist, originally from Berne, who now spends her time between the Jura and the south of Spain. Her works are inspired by J-J.Hauswirth: birds, and the unicorn, that mysterious mythical animal.
This exhibition, in partnership with the Parc naturel régional Gruyère Pays-d’Enhaut, highlights the fragility of various endangered species of birds which can still be found in our area. For how much longer?
